Regular readers of “old” Retro Remakes will be fully aware that as a general rule of thumb, we try and avoid posting anything with a price tag attached. However, we’re going to make a very special dispensation to that old rule for the time being as we’re incredibly proud to announce that a game that began life on the RR forums has just seen light of day on the market.

Naturally enough, it’s not just *any* old game, we’re not looking at a dip into the scary world of shareware here, or your typical portal fodder. No folks, it’s a game for the good old brown breadbox itself, the Commodore 64. It’s the now rather infamous Joe Gunn and now released unto the world via a partnership between some of our favourite folks Psytronik and Cronosoft.
We’d like to congratulate RR forumite Endurion, fellow admin The Codex, Paul Pridham and everyone’s favourite beard Mr Smila for making a rather fantastic game indeed in the first place and wish them all best of luck with this venture.
Joe Gunn Gold will set you back a whopping £3.99 Earth Money and naturally, comes with a .TAP image of the extended version for you to play in your emulator of choice.
